Director
Zach is one of our dedicated directors here at Cotswold Active Camps and the go-to person for all booking queries and support.
Growing up with a passion for a variety of sports, Zach began his coaching journey while studying at Hartpury College. Starting at just 16, he gained valuable experience working with local holiday camps, which ultimately inspired him to launch Cotswold Active Camps in 2022.
With over a decade of experience in holiday camps, Zach has worked across both large-scale programs with up to 140 children per day and more intimate groups of 15–30, like the ones we run at Cotswold Active Camps.
After completing his studies at Hartpury, Zach continued his education at Southampton University, specialising in Sports Coaching and Physical Education. He further developed his passion for teaching by earning a PGCE, which marked the beginning of his career in education.
Zach went on to lead Maths and Computing at Bourton Primary Academy, where he also managed the football and floorball teams and supported the PE Specialist with organizing sporting events and matches.
Today, Zach balances his role at Cotswold Active Camps with teaching Maths,Computing, and PE at an independent school in Cheltenham during term time.
Director
James is our other director of Cotswold Active Camps and is our Designated safeguarding lead. He can often be found at our Stow and Moreton venues as a lead as well.
